Covina Townhouses
Client: Withheld | Program: 8 Unit Multifamily Housing | Location: Covina, California | Site Area: 17,000 SF | Building Area: 15,000 SF
Set in a suburban area of Los Angeles, the project consists of 8 townhouse style housing units on an underutilized infill site. The design was inspired by traditional carriage houses, with the parking being located on the first level and living areas above on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The building’s design utilizes a traditional housing material, brick, but juxtaposes it with large infill areas of wood and glazing. Large communal outdoor spaces are proposed to foster a sense of community between the residences.
